Like magic
This pan is amazing, noticeably better release than the overpriced name brand they replaced. But Please read the instructions! You have to use a lower heat setting than you’ve ever used before and no blasting the heat during warmup. I stack pans so I cut cardboard circles out of the box they came in, to protect the nonstick surface. Time will tell how long the magic lasts, but for now I’m loving life when it’s my turn to cook!

Bought these on a prior drop being I needed new non stick anyway. Exceeded my expectations, they they heat evenly, and oven safe to 500 degrees is nice. Hopefully hold up well over a couple years.

These really are 5 star pans. I would recommend them to anyone. But buyer beware. Theres several things you should know before hand 1. The handle is metal. Shocker. Right? Well that just means that the handle eventually gets hot too, it's a little upsetting because there are better heat absorbing options 2. The handle is heavy. If you're like me and you dont trust anything over a beautiful blue fire chances are you'll only be able to orient these in a certain way on most iron racks/grills whatever you call the spacer. 3. Not recommended for dishwasher. There ARE non sticks that are dishwasher safe and I have a few. And I bet these are too. But the manual suggests handwashing them and thats a bit of a bummer. 4. Like all non stick super high heat isnt advised, not specific to his but important to consider regardless.

They are pans. They are solid, sturdy non-stick pans. They are heavy, grey, well made pans that I enjoy using for eggs, potatoes, scrapple, steaks, pork chops and asparagus. Well at least that's what I've used them for so far. They clean up without really any scrubbing and have replaced three ruined cheap "non-stick" pans. Even if they do not show up here again, seek them out and hut these pans.
JimmyCornCrackerLong-term update. The pans are still in mostly great shape. There is one issue, the handle for the larger pan is coming loose. Not sure why as the handles are riveted onto the body of the pan. In any case, still useful, still non-stick, still a really nice pan.

The pans are nicely made by a third party with license from Viking. The Teflon coating is well applied and very slippery. my only complaint is that I can’t shake the pan against the iron range grate without severely scratching the pan.

Got these a few days ago. Really nice and hefty, and doesn't look like the non-stick coating will flake off easily. I would typically be averse to myself or other family members using metal utensils within the pans, but my dad cooked eggs in the 10" one with a metal spatula, and I can't see a dent in it. Frying tofu, marinated meats, and veggies is also really nice. No more sticking to the pan and having to deal with scrubbing the gunk off in the sink. Works with induction stovetops too, with the bottom exposed. 5/7 would buy again (and will probably buy again, since I might be moving to a new place soon and my parents like this set so much). No lids though, you'll have to use your own lid(s).

Great pans ! I enjoy cooking with these pans. My only complaint was the large pans handle is slightly loose. Other than that , I’m happy with these pans.

RockerGil Why would you give it five stars if the panhandle is already loose ?

pal51961Because it’s not loose enough to effect the pan. A slight gap and if you try hard enough it will move slightly. At the price paid , I can accept that ! Absolute perfection is not going to make the pan cook any differently.

I love these. Don't need oil, can use metal utensils on it, it takes a little longer to heat up but over all they are great.
