Seriously disappointed In the quality and Customer Service. I was excited to receive these two Viking pans and as soon as I pick them up out of the shipping box I realize that the handles were not tight if you shook the pans they rattled. The handles were not secure to the pain itself.
I emailed customer service they responded I actually sent a video back of me shaking the handles so you could hear the sound they probably sent me a new one. I was absolutely stoned when I got the second set that they did the exact same thing! Hi seriously will not buy another Viking kitchen utensil or pan again
These are the best frying pans I've ever owned. They cook evenly, quickly and get pretty high temp. I don't own metal spatulas or anything, but I've needed to grab something with a metal spoon a few times and it doesnt scratch. They also clean easily and as of now they are my longest lasting nonstick by several months with daily use.
Update: Still use these daily, no scratches, still nonstick.
Honestly, this product is incredible, I'm very very happy with my purchase. Heat transfer and retention is amazing, non-stick is smooth, and it's an extremely versatile product. However, with the price, there are 2 things I'm slightly unhappy with (therefore the 4 stars, they deserve higher though).
1) the handle comes slightly loose, though not significant, it can be felt slightly when carrying the pan/sautéing. It's just a slight discomfort though, not seen on cheaper pans.
2) it's heavy, especially the handle. This can be a danger when you're putting it on an unblanced surface, but it's not an issue whenever you have something in the pan.
Just be safe with them, stack them with cardboard intermediates, don't overheat, and take care of em.
Definitely recommend, maybe 10 bucks cheaper and I would have 0 complaints.
Looked and felt like quality pans, and I would've loved to keep and use them. But due to non-existent packaging when shipped from Drop, the pans arrived damaged. The large pan had scrapes and scuffs in the non-stick coating, and the handle had been knocked loose.
Drop offered free return shipping, but that was not why I bought these pans. This is the second time warehouse issues have messed up a Drop order for me. Pretty disappointed.
This pan is amazing, noticeably better release than the overpriced name brand they replaced. But Please read the instructions! You have to use a lower heat setting than you’ve ever used before and no blasting the heat during warmup. I stack pans so I cut cardboard circles out of the box they came in, to protect the nonstick surface. Time will tell how long the magic lasts, but for now I’m loving life when it’s my turn to cook!
