I either want a shipping number or my transaction canceled by the end of the day. This is absolutely ridiculous. There has been poor communication all around. If I don't have one of those things I'm going to file a fraud report with my bank in an attempt to get back the cash and I'm going to see who else I can file a report with. When we pay $240 we expect to hear from you guys, especially after a week with no update.
Seriously, what's with the complaints?
Not just you, but a lot of people on here. This isn't amazon, as far as I know there's no policy stating that they should give you a tracking number in X amount of days. Also regarding the other complaints, if you don't get one with a serial number or proper warranty then the solution is simple: return it.
Massdrop is a small company, and the service that they're providing is awesome for what we pay for it (little to nothing). From what I can tell, they're kind of understaffed in the front-end, but that doesn't mean that they forgot about our orders. Your profile states that this may be your first drop? If so, why do you even bother complaining when you don't know the status quo?
I'd only start being concerned after waiting one more week. They said that shipping begins 5 days after the drop (which was this past friday), so we should be getting updates sometime this week.
I'm upset because I don't know this website. I found it and decided to spend quite a bit of cash on here. I'm not asking for them to get shipped immediately with 2 day shipping but I do want to get some sort of update to assure me that I didn't drop a bit of money for no product. They could send an email every 2-3 days giving me an update. They could have some status bar with a description on the headphone page. Anything to make me feel like my Money Was Spent wisely.
And you're right. I don't know the status quo. But that doesn't mean the status quo isn't horrendous. As a first time buyer I can say I don't feel comfortable enough spending money here again. I generally don't part with this much money and then simply wait it out until they decide a week or two later to contact me.
I do not believe anyone has ever been cheated by MD. If what you get is not exactly as described, you can always get a refund. However my experience on here has been nothing but positive.
This is a luxury item. If you do not want the hassel that goes with the discount, cancel your order and pay $310 for the same thing directly from VMODA.
Can you cancel after your card has been charged?
I guess they could improve their system a bit to include more detailed updates, but where else can you find a discount like this, for a new product? It's a give and take.
I mean it also a Sunday. They have to have time off. Its not Amazon. Its not a 24/7/365 operation.
