Hi guys, I received my TA-01 today, but to my surprise, the CD with the driver was missing. Does anyone have a reliable up to date driver that he/she could share with me?
Also, on the first listening session, with the original chinese tube, it doesn't sound that bad. I understand the Gold Lion is a major upgrade, so I am really looking forward to getting one. Overall, the build quality and sound is pretty good. I am very happy with it.
One note though. The amplifier picks up noises and vibrations (physically) and amplifies it. I'm not sure why that is. It is coming from the left channel only. It's a bit suspicious to me, but I'm gonna check it out later on.

darabont_orsAny updates? I agree about the gold lion, I was very unimpressed until I stuck that in. Now it sounds spectacular.

BozoskeletonzI haven't had the chance to get a Gold Lion yet. But soon enough. It's been more than a month now and I have to say, I'm quite happy how the TA-01 sounds. It's quite decent. At low volume, it's pretty clear on the whole spectrum. Turned high, it starts to sound a bit muddy. I think the Gold Lion will take care of this issue. Can't wait to get one.
