this xduoo x20 for $196 usd or x3ii for $117 which is a better deal? im going to use as a dac and a edc dap, the battery life of the x3ii attracts me more than on the x20. durability, sq, and power and longevity are a must. i dont need balance. and a which of which has a more stable software. thnx

Expected a lot from the technical data but was sorely disappointed after listening it. Sound is flat, lacks energy and excitement. I am glad that I did not order it blind as I did with X10, which was total disappointment, X20 sounds a little bit better but not enough to use it. I have X3 for a couple of years now and it is an excellent DAP even with all its interface limitations and for a price it is just a steal. I am really puzzled, why in the world xDuoo could not repeat their their success with X3?

I have two of the xDuoo X3,working perfect with stock OR Rockboxed firmware..can switch between them too,no problem.Bought mine 2 years ago,still going strong.Just wonder how much of a sound diffrence it\s between then.Worth an upgrade_What you think..Thanks for reading and also thank to any replye .

CheapCharlieNo problem. I am waiting for the R3 but purely sound wise, the dual 9018DAC DP-S1/XDP-30R looks to have R3 beat based on initial reviews. So long as you can do without extra functions the R3 has e.g. streaming.
