Says estimated ship date is the 11th but UPS sent me an email saying I have a package coming tomorrow. That was very fast. Can't wait to get this hooked up.

PhriarMine's certainly sounding better than my newish LG B7A TV was by itself for sure... added receiver plus a pair of C Note speakers ( https://www.parts-express.com/c-note-mt-bookshelf-speaker-kit-pair-with-knock-down-cabinets--300-7140 ) plus a couple speakers sitting on top of those that I'm experimenting with Atmos / DSP effects. Next will be a center channel and maybe a sub :)
I have an android phone and I've been using the app called "AV controller" (search the play store for Yamaha, then pick that one) as a remote, definitely handier than using the dedicated remote in situations where the on-screen menus aren't going to be visible (in TV-based streaming apps when the audio is coming back over ARC for example).

Does this have line level out so that I can send the audio to individual amps?

It does help. The use case is basically for doing matched volume without having a massively expensive processor that can handle discrete bi-amping on top of 7.2.
An edge case, for sure.

PigmonkeY@PigmonkeY 1) Zone 2 can be used as line level output at full/unity gain. This would require a separate pre-amplifier or integrated amplifier to attenuate the volume. 2) The Pre-outs can technically be at full/unity gain if you increase the volume to 0dB 3) In your use-case, you could still use the pre-outs and volume match the amp's gain down to the receiver's level using it's white noise signal during audio setup. I did the same by using my center channel that's hooked up to my receiver and matched my left and right channel gain on my external amp to the same volume. This should theoretically have the same volume change across them as you increase/decrease volume on your receiver. 4) If you're using an external amp, you really don't need to bi-amp unless you're looking to put the amp in bridge mode for more power, even in this case you wouldn't use a line-level without a pre-amp/integrated amp.

If this model does not quite meet your needs, as it is for me, accessories4less.com carries many refurbished receivers by brands Denon, Integra, Marantz, Onkyo, Pioneer and Yamaha. As well as many other A/V products.

fogelsongI’ve had and heard of many extremely bad experiences with Accessories4less . Com. A quick google of their name will reveal an onslaught of negative reviews posted by people, ranging from exceptionally delayed shipments, to damaged goods, to misleading and false advertising and receiving lower models or refurbished or returned non-working products, to multiple charges showing up months after purchase, to the company denying an order was ever made and refusing to ship. Most of all, their sales should be considered strictly final (regardless of the reason for your desire to return), as they simply will not provide any level of customer service. Their prices are reflective of what you can expect from them; caveat emptor.

110V, 220V or both?

a.rudoiYou can very easily see that there is no voltage switch on the back panel. And this ships to the US only. Can you guess what voltage it handles? I think you might be able to.

The Costco TSR-7810 is simply a Yamaha RX-V781 that has been renamed for Costco to avoid price-matching situations with other retailers. New units are selling for around US$567 on Amazon at the moment.

dtszI bought my TSR-7810 from Costco a few years ago, and it's been great. Though it seems like Costco is no longer stocking Yamaha AV receivers (or any AV receivers for that matter). At least, none are listed on their site currently.
If Yamaha updates their receivers for AirPlay 2, I'll probably buy another one for my living room (current one is the basement). If not, I'll likely look to a Denon.

I've the last gen model (tsr-7790bl) that is the same except no Atmos/DTS:x but everything else seems the same. It's been really great, especially with pre-outs at this price. That's the primary reason I bought it as the power is the only weakness on most of these receiver's. I connect my pre-out L/R channels to an outboard amp and power my center from the receiver. The app and web control is convenient, also the remote with the scene buttons (e.g one touch music button that you can set to Pandora or radio to auto play). Sound quality is good. 4:4:4 60fps 4k passthrough only works on HDMI 2, the non-arc HDMI output. 4:4:4 needs to be setup in the internal (special) setup (not the main menus) along with 6 ohm speakermode if needed.

ya that was no dice for me. I did some more research and found that it may be an Apple TV 4k Specific issue as that is my source. Some have said that I need 48Gbps HDMI cables instead of the High Speed 18 Gbps. It seems Belkin is the only company making these cables and they are labeled as "Ultra High Speed" with a throughput of 48Gbps. I went ahead and got two of these and we will see.

Not to be rude, but Woot has this for $329.99. I've never had a problem with reconditioned electronics, but I'd rather not pay more than I have to given there is still some small risk.

FWIW, I don't own this receiver but I've been eyeing it because it is, by far, the most affordable 4K HDR-capable receiver on the market that has preamp outputs for external amplification. I think you'd need to pay 2x as much or more for any other receiver with that capability.

SeverianSame reason I picked one up during the Newegg flash sale. I'm using it to power a 3.1 Elac Uni-Fi setup without any regrets. Pick one up!

Shazb0tThat's good to know because I did end up joining the drop. Seems like this could be one of the last chances to easily get one of these since it was never sold new except at Costco and is now discontinued.

I purchased this as I’m building a Man Cave and my Harmon Kardon 7.1 will not pass 4K to my new Vizio E-series TV. I also bought a new 4K Atmos Blu-Ray. I have much to learn about all the new technology. I installed 7 Polk Audio in wall speakers and ran 2 SW LFE cables to 2 different wall plate locations. Can’t wait to watch my first action movie.

I thought I did pretty good with the Vizio M75-E1 4K XLED model. My budget was 1.5k and everything connected is 4K with the 4K hdmi cables. I am pretty pleased With the results. Which TV would you have bought? Thanks.
ObiwanI am super late to this- but wanted to let you know (in case there was a touch of doubt in the back of your mind) that your tv is the M series and not an E series. The E series is significantly lower quality. Vizios models are a bit confusing, but the first letter in the model number denotes the product range, with P being the best, and D being the worst. Your M is a great tv. =)

CuchytoNo, most televisions will not pass through Atmos. You will need to hook up a video source that supports Dolby Atmos directly to the receiver.

bigsnyderNote, @Cuchyto that as @bigsnyder said it's not NONE, but MOST. (I only know because my 2017 LG OLED is one of the exceptions to the general rule, and apparently sends Atmos back out over the HDMI Audio Return Channel. (I say "apparently" because savvy people like Rtings.com say so... my 2.0.2 makeshift Atmos speaker setup isn't the best to confirm)
So it CAN be done, for the right homework and the right price.
