Hi, i got some questions.

more_vert
Just getting started into the audiophile, but im also a gamer so i need a headphone and mic now instead of a headset and thing are getting annoying, so i need a DAC and a AMP for my headphone but also a audio interface doing the ADC and phantom power for the mic... and that annoy me that i need so many units (headphone, mic, boom arm, dac, amp, audio interface, hell the wires too...) was wondering if there is any unit doing all of this in one AMP/DAC/ADC/PHANTOM POWER i know there some dac/amp combo looking up the aune x1s, but the thing is i also got active speakers so i cant plug a dac/amp to active speakers right ? i have the pc38x which i think from review and research that sound like the hd599 but with a wider sound stage and better imaging is that right ? im trying to find a headphone so reference could be nice, i know they probably dont sound similar but atm from the ones im looking into the Audio Technica ad2000x is the winner, the Hifiman 5xx so damn pretty and from z review the aggressiveness of it got me curious because i listen to metal, the Sundara and the reliable Sennheiser 6xx and 58x So -any unit doing AMP/DAC/ADC/PHANTOM POWER -is dac/amp combo dangerous for active speaker ? or im getting it wrong -pc38x sound similar to hd599 ? -thought on those headphone ?

Sounds like you want an audio interface. pc38x looks close to harman, hd599 are probably a little better, but probably won't be a big change. Generally speaking gamer headphones are trash tier, pc38x looks like an exception. Sennheiser also makes good headphones in general. I haven't tried the pc38x nor the 599. I own the hd 598 and the are very good headphones. I probably wouldn't buy a high end Audiotechnica. The m40/m50 are good bad headphones - cheap, look bad, shitty build, sound great, designed to be beat up and travel. But it doesn't look like audiotechnica knows what they're doing with high end headphones. Z is an irrelevant loser, please don't waste any more time listening to his ignorance. HE4xx and HE5xx sound ok, low build quality, cheap look and feel. I regret buying both, not worth having in the collection. Drop is dead, only good for posting spam. Ask somewhere else.
