The prices seem far from hot. 6XX from USA is $235 w/ shipping, while European version is 280. Depending on the country VAT rate in EU, the shipping from USA is likely to be cheaper, even if you were to apply VAT afterwards as the customs fees are usually low in most countries. In some countries you can even luck out and end up not paying, even on the bigger packages (my 6XX ended arriving without VAT and customs). Other than the delivery speed, the EU warehouse option does not seem to offer benefits that would sway me.

AciDek+1 I was kind of shocked at the price tag. Even if I wanted to buy them product in hand, I could just go to my local hifi store and get the HD600 for 278€. Instantly. I appreciate what Drop is trying to accomplish, but I wish the prices could be adjusted further. To me, the main point of (mass)Drop is getting quality stuff at a discount due to the power of group buying (economy of scale). If you eliminate the price advantage, you are left with some exclusive color variations and maybe some exclusive products. Which is good and all, but to me, it's not enough. Once again, kudos to Drop anyway. Keep up the good work, guys.

AciDekI am perfectly happy with the pricing: At least here in Germany, the VAT is 19 percent and calculated including(!) the shipping costs. Thus the 235 USD US-price for the HD 6XX incl. shipping amounts to a total of 279.65 USD when importing.  Additionally to the 45 USD VAT - depending on the delivery services - I would have to pay tax/customs handling fees of up to 40 USD and/or (if I am unlucky), I have to take half a day off, drive to the next customs office (NOT the nearby post office) which is about 20 Miles away (although I am living in one of the biggest cities in Germany) and wait there in queue to pick up my package after inspection. I don't know where you live but it never happened to me that such a package is not registered by the customs officers. Thus I just bought the HD 6XX (EU) - although I already own the HD 660s - which I would not have done when I would have to import it from the US. I am thankful that (Mass)Drop finally started to see this opportunity.

AciDekAnd you can get the k712 for quite a bit cheaper than the 7XX... which doesn't really make sense.
