People Are Picky

A lot of these other reviews are like "it's rugged, but not rugged enough, or waterproof" ...like, what are you doing with your hard drives and what did you actually expect? Or "the clip to hold the cord is nice but hard to clip into" ... it's really easy to clip into though, AND it's one of my favorite features of this drive If you want a handy hard drive that you don't have to treat extra delicately...grab it. If you're looking to go kayaking and throwing your hard drive against walls...then maybe don't lol

I have no need for the ruggedness of this drive but setup was easy and the rubber case is nice for insulating some vibration and noise. Used for backup redundancy only right now. Working great.

DO NOT BUY! I thought that the rugged outside was an indication of the toughness, but it was not. The thing has never hit the ground, but now the drive isn't recognizable by my computer. Praying that I can get the data recovered and moved to another drive

This is what it says it is. Durable hard drive. The clips that keep the cord connected are a little hard to clip the cord into. I docked one star for that. Great product and worth the money.

Does what it says on the tin: is a hard drive. However, the shock resistant factor is just a flimsy rubber shell (better than nothing). The waterproofing has a flap similar to the Samsung Galaxy S5, but worse in every way. Every connection feels flimsy. I would not buy this again.
