This is a terrific wallet. Horween shell cordovan is great leather, the workmanship is excellent and although a bit thicker than I would have preferred, I think this is beautiful and indestructible.

I have been using this wallet for the last couple of months. It seems that this wallet will last the rest of my life as long as I don't loose it or expose it to some other extreme condition such as burning in a fire, etc. The wallet is designed well and functions as it should. The leather is beautiful and begins to develop a unique patina fairly quickly. The only reason to not give this wallet four stars is because of the distracting and tacky branding and horween stamp. Id much prefer this wallet if it didn't have these annoying branding. This has nothing to do with the quality or function, but grates against my personal style.

Honestly, I would have been just as happy if I had paid msrp. Tacky I know, but this is literally the best wallet I have owned, held or seen. My first experience with shell cordovan, and I can see why it is coveted, it is amazing. Bill section is just right for USA/CAN bills, can't speak to others. 2 cards per slot is a little tight now, but even before leather stretch, just fine.
I have been in contact with Ashland regarding a different order and would add a 6th star if I could here, beyond helpful, prompt and polite. Will be making many purchases in the future.
Just read back this review and I sound like a schill, I assure you I'm not, I actually joined massdrop for the knives/watches, didn't even check the other sections until very recently. If you appreciate quality and don't resent paying for it, Ashland is for you, kinda pissed actually as I missed the Bugs Moran drop waiting for this to show up, so I could assess the value proposition

Beautiful wallet, just like it is/was described.... This is a very nice piece, the leather is smooth and looks great. The size of Tony's is just a little bigger than Bugs', just what I was hoping for. When closed, the bill compartment is a perfect fit, wraps nicely around the whole wallet - when opened, if parts away just right so that I can reach in a grab a wad of bills. I would suggest that at least 10 bills would fit, no problem. The size for the bills, US money is a perfect fit. Foreign bills, the larger notes would most likely have to be folded. I keep two cards (CC, license, etc) in each inside slot, and they are a little tight right now, but just like Bugs' wallet, the leather will stretch just enough to hold every nice and secure in about a week or two.
