The new refreshed series of Nvidia GPUS (11XX) is supposedly coming out later in July. I think you guys should wait for those to come out, because then prices will definitely drop on these cards
JacobytesI was JUST about to say this. Check news guys, there's overstock of graphics cards all the way from Nvidia to AIB partners; prices are LIKELY to drop to MSRP if not already there.
edit: It doesn't matter if right now, at this moment, the price is slightly higher. The point is that if you take your time, you'll find a better deal with possibly a much faster shipping.
This should be priced normally around 500 US. For a drop to make sense it would need to be in the 450 area.
Don't support these prices. Not a good deal.
MeyoBoth you and @bbop1013 have vaild points. as i live outside of the US, this is a great deal for me as our local PC store is currently charging about USD$790 for an ASUS ROG 1080. it is amazing that this drop ships to where i live.
we all enjoy a great deal when it knocks at our door and everyone wants that bang for buck performance.
Check BHPhoto for used Ti. They just had an open package asus 1080 ti go for $569 and an SC2 for $657. There are still a couple of Tis on there ~$700. You're welcome.
