Awesome knife, though I notice on the instructions that it suggests periodically lubing the knife, and as this is my first one, i'd love to know what everyone else uses for oil?

brangetsbrutalYou've got a few options, you can use mineral oil or more specialized products like Go Juice / Nano Oil / KPL. I personally use nano oil (some would say it's gimmicky, I think it works really well and prefer it over go juice), I never tried KPL but heard good things about it too. Whatever you use, you'll really want to apply no more than 1 or 2 drops per friction point, over lubricating can be counter-productive.

mdeousThank you! I ended up going with some Sentry TUF glide dry lubricant after searching around for recs and reviews, and I also repeatedly came upon the notion hat 1-2 drops is enough to work into the friction points. Thanks again for chiming in!

As others have noted, I like Bestech knives a lot. And I like this one. Do I want Droop to collect interest on my money for a month? Do I want to wait until next year to get this? Knife Center has this in stock and it ships immediately and arrives quickly. Their price is $183. (If you buy enough knives from them, you will get to a point that you will be refunded 5% of what you spent. So that lowers the price to $174,42, Shipping is also free. White Mountain Knives has this for $208. This is reduced by the LTK code and becomes $187.20. Shipping is also free and prompt. Drop People, if you were prompt in your shipping and a bit more attractive in your pricing, I feel that you would have a chance of selling more. A GOOD chance. I just picked up a CS Code 4 for $72 at MidwayUSA.

This is a gorgeous knife that I wish I could commit to but can’t right now. I’ve become a fan of Bestech and this is one of the sleekest I’ve seen from them offered on Drop.

PizzaSkunkMe too. This would be my first Bestech but this is a very good looking one. Add in the fact it's a framelock without a flipper and it's right up my alley. I agree it's the best looking Bestech I've seen in some time. I really liked the ghost too but never picked one up. I have to admit I'm strongly considering joining this drop
I may have the money to make it work (since the talisman drop was cancelled) but would need one additional person to purchase it for the drop to go through. I'm hesitant right now bc I'm still waiting on a knife (ATCF) to get here from the international warehouse on an order placed mid March. Add in the whole disaster that was the Talisman drop and I think I have a right to be a bit weary.
But everytime I see the picture of this thing all I can think is, "Damn, I want one". If I pass this time around, I'll definitely be requesting it come back for another round.

I really like this. I also really like the VDK Talisman drop and would pretty much have to decide between the two. Given the price between the two is similar, I'll probably go with the WE made knife that has the better steel choice (talisman has m390) but I have to admit this is the best looking Bestech I've seen and I'm very intrigued to pick one up the next time they drop.
