The Bulova CURV collection is technically and aesthetically charming in just about every way. Originally released in 2016, this innovative style of watch creates an entirely new category Read More
it looks like this is just another seller trying to take advantage of grossly inflated MSRP to convince uninformed buyers that they're getting a good deal. The "sale" price is the price the watch usually sells at.
Also this brand also make watches for walmart. https://youtu.be/tT6bS3jXvI4. The only diff is that you pay more for this!
Yotto"Also this brand also make watches for walmart"...
Probably most stupid comment ever :-D (followed by most ridiculous and irrelevant video ever). Please read and learn some about watches and movements before jumping to conclusions.
By the way, can you please provide links to the sites that sells this watch new for $209 at ordinary price?
Those aren't Chronographs.... that's the point. The CURV is the world's 1st curved Chrono. It has horological significance quartz or not. IMO this is where a Quartz shines, doing something a mechanical can never do (aside from being superior in terms of accuracy, affordability, maintenance, weight...)
I didn’t mean you’ll find it cheaper what I meant is the 162 is the titanium version which is more expensive this particular watch is a great deal i don’t think you’ll find it cheaper
No sweeping seconds hand, no deal... I have one of the Precisionist Chronographs with 1/1000 seconds reading for the chrono and that one has a big, centered sweeping seconds hand. Mine uses the same movement as this one: https://drop.com/buy/bulova-precisionist-quartz-watch-98b313/talk#discussions but mine has a diver styling (including bracelet extension so it's way more prettier IMO:

Indeed, I love that design because when I'm not using that watch, I enable the chronograph mode which will stop the seconds hand. Hopefully that will save me lots of unnecesary battery usage without actually stopping the time measuring (by pulling out the crown)
I would buy this one or the Lunar if the seconds hand had that lovely smooth sweeping motion...
I stop the second hand without enabling the chronograph and the curv is an awesome watch i had the very first titanium version and i still have this 140th anniversary edition as for pulling the crown imo a big no no moisture
If you like quartz watches this one is awesome extremely accurate wears incredibly nice and this price is a great deal i just sold my titanium version for twice this price on eBay this watch caries the precisionist movement that beats at 262 htz or something like that anyway it’s a good deal and no i don’t get any incentive from md or bulova
