We tallied the votes in the Medium Sized Fixed Blades poll, and Cold Steel’s 3V Master Tanto came out on top. In addition to the Master Tanto, we’re offering five other variations of this combat knife Read More
This drop comes up every couple of months.... Cold Steel 3V... Great price, but I want the SRK or the Master Hunter in 3V not a tanto style blade. Even the Pendleton or Mini Pendleton in 3V would be better.
Just about the time that I get a serious case of fedupism concerning The Droop, they go and put up a good knife at a very enticing price. Can I just say no for four more days? I'm not holding my breath. Just think, if I do purchase this, I will never have to fear another attack from cinder blocks or metal car hoods. Why, I might feel like an Averager, uh....that would be an Avenger. Or I could get some tan clothes and be a Lunatic Fringer. "Watch out, you Side of Beef! I'm comin' to get ya!"
Just got a notification from UPS that the estimated delivery date is the day before the estimated date to ship out given by massdrop. I'm loving this more and more every minute
If you're going to get one DON'T GET THE WARCRAFT, I don't know who designed the grip but its the most uncomfortable design I've ever felt on a knife.
Edit: felt not seen
These Cold Steel 3V knives are truly pretty useless for realistic purposes, for most people (me included).
They are nonetheless super awesome and I do collect all of them.
Holy cow that Magnum Tanto XII looks not only badass but actually very very good value for money considering its made entirely out of CPM 3V.
With Massdrops very competitive international shipping rates to Australia.... I might just have to buy one. Guess I have 5 days to collect all that money... :/
"Warcraft"? Really? Do "professionals" buy blades with names like that?
Makes me appreciate Spyderco's restraint in their own nomenclature! No "Magnum SlaughterMax Badass" models in their lineup...
I had this knife when they where carbon5 loved it carried it for 4 years in ranger bat. It was a bear to sharpen because of how thick it was but it was very sharp for ever before I had to mess with it not sure about the new blade material but the grip an size are great for a camp hunt knife just adding my two cents
Mother fuck Cold Steel. Bought this knife (not on MD obviousl) And out of the box it didn’t cut paper. Paper. They brag that their knives are sharp as fuck but I’m here to tell you I got a pos. I was hesitant to buy a CS because I feel like they’re ghetto overpriced crap. Not surprised they’re on MD tho
Doubt. In general, Benchmade's come with duller edges than Cold Steel across the board. BM's heat treat is also inferior to CS's, an example being their s30v in particular, which is prone to chipping.
