If I commit it's $19 and some change for each notebook. If I buy outright it's a few cents short of $21 each. Either way and with the sustainability of cork as a big plus in my book, these very handsome notebooks seem too dear, particularly for a new contender like Corcho.
I'm going to enjoy the Corcho Slim notebooks I received in the last drop, while sadly thinking of that cool front pen loop!
Oh, wow! It's not often that you think I wish they made this item in that size and then a few weeks later they do exactly that.
Last time the Corcho Slim was dropped I spent some time trying to find the manufacturer's website, in the hope that they made their product in A5 or larger. I was disappointed back then that they did not.

Great work Massdrop.
Reviews and comments here and elsewhere seem to suggest that the cover is a miracle of chemistry (a sprinkle of hyperbole). The cover is cork but it is supple and pliant like fabric. No reports of it cracking. The paper is FP-friendly too.
TherocThank you Theroc, I appreciate your response. I do not need any more notebooks now (damn Massdrop Rhodia drops!) but I may keep these in mind for later.
