I will share my experience with 2 Dekoni 6xx EarPads for my HD650s. I have the sheepskin and the elite velour. They are well made ear pads but I have to admit they changed the sound for the worse. My HD650s sounded muffled with these ear pads. I recommend getting stock ear pad replacements for HD6XX series. Granted I have no experience with these pads on the HD58X.
in Metal571’s HD660s video he stated whatever you do, don’t pad swap to non Sennheiser pads on the 6XX line. I wish I had heard that before I dropped a Benjamin on my 2 pads.

mtmercerWow, i'm surprised with all the posts talking about the sound signature changes after installing the Dekoni pads. I swapped out my HD6XX's with the elite hybrids and thought that they sounded a little muffled but was willing to live with the minimal changes due to a significant improvement in comfort.
I think this is where the HD6xx's are hard to judge as slight changes in equipment can make such a difference. I have no doubt that things can drastically change depending on the setup for these cans.
Now you guys have forced me to re-install the stock ear pads to re-test my impressions. :)

mtmercerThanks for that info, I was also looking for some alternative pads for my 650s.

mtmercerI have the hybrid. Swapping back and forth I think the difference isn't massive. More bass and maybe a touch more muffled - but the HD6XX are a little muffled to begin with. My stock pads are flat now and not nearly as comfy. I need to break in the new pads for a bit longer.

marts_sumI have the fenestrated and the elite velour and I think the Elites velour is my go to, I really enjoy the comfort over the stock pads, and the change in sound is minimal to me. The fenestrated had a bit more of a change to the sound, it was a bit more muffled. But honestly if I hadn't pad swapped a bunch I wouldn't have noticed. I just ordered the hybrids looking forward to seeing how they work out. I also picked up the 58x to add to my 6xx, once I get those in I'll swap pads on those too.

DarthpoolAny follow up on the pads? I just tried the fenestrated and hated it on the 58X. I have some incoming 6XX as well, and I'm debating which pads to get for each? I was trying to avoid velour, but I also don't want the sound to get worse... wondering what your thoughts are for the best dekoni pad on each of these?

zep483I'm a fan of the elite hybrid...but they do change the fit and sound, but for me neither are a big deal. The velour are closest to stock but also add clamp force. For me the sound profile change was not drastically different in any of the pads. My preference is as follows: hybrid>velour>fenestrated. The hybrid sounds better than the fenestrated for me at least.
