Why isn't this in the Mechanical Keyboards community? Maybe in the near future Massdrop could add the ability for the same drop to appear in multiple overlapping communities?
$30 + shipping ($3 for me) for a fullsize (+macros) kailh brown board with rgb underlighting (not backlighting) is a pretty solid deal. It's better than most of the china brands you find on amazon for this price.
I think alienware is getting rid of bunch of these. I was seriously looking for these when they were on sale for similar price on rakuten.com a week back. These would be a good buy to enter the world of mechanical keyboards, but you would want to upgrade soon. These other brands really don't match the tactility of cherry switches. But went for Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Rapidfire Mechanical Gaming Keyboard.
AmJoshI have a board with cherry switches and i dont even like them. Right now i use omron switches for gaming, and buckling springs for long typing sessions. Ive never tried kailh switches before but i did have Outemu switches and theyre not bad at all in comparison, even though i dont really like either
Wow, $30 for this keyboard is pretty good! I'd love if they introduced a compact size in the future since I think full size keyboards take too much space. Still a great deal, though.
