Very cool and perfectly matches my seeing Eye keycap
Sits on my desk and works awesome with my Seeing Eye keycap. The built-in light that activates when I click the key is a nice touch and little distraction every once in a while. Love it.

A Must-Have for LOTR and Keycap Collectors
If you're a The Lord of the Rings fan and a mechanical keyboard enthusiast, this Mordor Keycap Holder is an absolute masterpiece! The level of detail in the design is stunning, from the rugged volcanic terrain to the fiery glow of Mount Doom. It’s the perfect display piece for showcasing artisan keycaps in a truly epic fashion.
The build quality is fantastic, with a solid, premium feel that looks great on any desk setup. It’s not just a functional keycap holder—it’s a collectible centerpiece that brings Middle-earth to life.
Whether you're storing your favorite keycaps or just displaying this as a standalone decor piece, it's a worthy addition to any LOTR fan’s collection.

Base does not sit flat
The switch of the light mechanism protrudes from under the base. That is why it cannot stand completely flat on a table, for example.

Cool concept, poorly finished
The Tower does NOT sit flat, the power on button at the bottom sticks out beyond the platform surface so it hits the table first and thus make the tower wobble. It is beyond my comprehension how can this kind of issues happen since you only need to put the tower on any flat surface to notice...
NOBODY has even open one from the manufacturing and tried it out?
They are sending thicker pads to fixes the issue "for free" but for people outside the US, since we need to pay customs fees, it does not end up free. 30€ extra in my case, for an already expensive product that i already paid +50% in customs fees+VAT beforehand... so... no thanks.
I am going to have to fix it myself aswell, it is not hard but for the price, i dit NOT expected this problems...
This needs to get fixed for v2 and:
- You should make the plaque optional (removable)
- Pack it with a 2$ 2 pin power cable so that it can be used to externally power the PC on (and maybe another 2pin if needed to power up the LED so that you dont even need the batteries??) This needs a design change of the bottom and a couple wires running through the tower to connect to the switch pin which in material should not be much more cost (i can not talk about manufacturing though) but add SO MUCH MORE VALUE to the piece.

RithI stand corrected. This is what customer support just answered me (quoting since this does not allow images):
"As was mentioned in the email you are replying to, we only offered the pad if you replied before the end of September requesting it. "
So... no, they are not sending the pads anymore. W T F.
** EDIT. Update: they now said they still have some left and will send me one. Feels just fair to update the review

The perfect addition to your desk
This key cap holder is so cute! Small than I’d imagined but great nevertheless

Beautiful but expensive
It overall looks really nice and has a ton of beautiful details, still a bit expensive especially when the Eye of Sauron key has to be purchased separately

Cool in theory, but poorly executed
The item itself looks nice, but the lighting leaves some things to be desired. The LED underneath the switch at the top of the tower isn't particularly bright, so the effect isn't that great. The internal lighting for the tower looks good.
The worst part about this item is the fact that the light switch protrudes beyond the bottom felt ring underneath of the tower. This means the tower cannot sit flat unless you add more material to the ring, or (what I did) remove material from the physical toggle switch underneath. This isn't a difficult fix, but the issue is so obvious that I wonder why nothing was done to address it before the products were shipped.

A great product
它质地极佳,设计精良,但顶部尖端容易折断,运输过程中记得要更好地保护它

Looks good, some flaws
The tower itself is very detailed and looks great. The Eye of Sauron key (that is sold separately) can be pressed to light up the tower, but it gets stuck every time because the opening is too small for it.

lordloreAppreciate the feedback and review. We sent out an email detailing some improvements that are in the works, also highlighted in this comment (including a clearance fix for the sticking key).
