contax1976I picked up the Signature DJ but sold it shortly afterwards, while pretty decent overall I didn't prefer the sound coming off of it compared to my cheap'ish now discontinued M-Audio Q40 which I've been trying to find a replacement for since forever but it turns out being much harder than I thought. Signature DJs had similar sound signature but just slightly more V-shaped, the bass was actually slightly less punchy/tight on the Signature DJs but of similar power, just a tad bit more boomy as the M-Audio Q40 have some of the punchiest and tightest but impactful response I've heard which I particularly like about them. The other thing was the Signature DJ the mids were ever so tiny bit less lush and distant and the highs very just a tad bit too bright for me, it sounded better to me both mids & highs if adding a thin extra layer of foam material into the cups but ultimately I didn't feel worth keeping it for the price difference, also the comfort was less than ideal for me. I do think the tuning of these Signature X headphones probably would fit me better but I'd gladly see some FR response graph.
Poppy.018Interested in Sig DJs and Sig Pros, and now that there are these I have to see if they are as good as they say the DJs and the Pros are
.. Nice to see you confirm the DJs like so many.. Maybe I should just get the DJs...
RPGWiZaRDWe must have different ears, but that's ok. Signature DJ has for me best space and naturalness of tone in both voices and instruments, on a par with any high-end 'phones. Earpads just a little small.
Poppy.018How hard is it going to be to get a good comparison between these new ones that not many will buy and discontinued pair thst hardly anyone bought lol... If I can be told well enough that these new ones are as good as Sig DJ I'm practically in
