Space1011111111I bought then returned two Durgod keyboards because the stabilizers were mushy and the switches were inconsistent. After prying a few keys open, I saw a horizontal metal wire in place of your two side stabilizers. So I'm assuming you're getting Costar stabilizers, not Cherry ones.
Honestly, just get a Ducky keyboard. The designs are basically the same, but the build quality is so much higher.
OzenThank you, I was able to cancel upon reading this. Although I ended up getting The Glorious GMMK Tenkeyless which has hot swappable switches, and a bunch of kailh box jade and a key set. Black Friday sales it came out to about 117USD
bazurkThe Wooting One is also a nice TKL keyboard. It's got novelty optomechanical Flaretech switches. The keyboard is also switch-hotswappable. However, the 55g of force to press the switches proved a tad too heavy for me.
I currently use a Ducky One Version 2 TKL keyboard with Cherry MX Silver switches.
One interesting thing to note between Ducky and Durgod is that Ducky originates in Taiwan while Durgod originates in China. Yet, both companies make very similar keyboards.
And no, Taiwan is not a part of China because Taiwan has its own government.
OzenI get what you are saying as I was looking at the "Ducky RGB One" which this keyboard (durgod) seems to be a clone of. The problem is that I can not find the "Ducky RGB One" online at all. Mechanical Keyboards no longer stocks them. I mean sure you can get the Ducky One 2, but if you feel the frame of the "ducky rgb one" is more solid with less flex than the "one 2". I may have to go with the Ducky at the end of the day, but the 2 tone color scheme they have on the One 2 Rgb, makes it look like a toy..... dont know why they didn't offer a solid color like they did on the original "one".
OzenI took a look at that "wootling one" and unfortunately it is not my cup of tea. I mean not trying to hate, but whoever designed that frame needs to get slapped. I am sure I am not the only one that things that the Forehead and Chin on that thing is Fugly. I mean all that wasted space and yet it adds nothing to the board. If it was just more symmetrical they may have had a winner, anyway as they say everyone has different tastes.
bazurkI was about to pull the trigger on the GMMK, what stopped me is that I saw some videos on youtube where the lighting seemed very weak. A couple of youtubers that made the videos confirmed to me that the lighting was definitely weak. Do you find that to be an issue yourself? How did you fair out with the stabilizers on that board? One thing I noticed was that they all rattled like there was no tomorrow.
