What is the real ship date on these? Everything from Dwarf Factory has been super delayed this year, my orders from May on Drop for DF artisans have been pushed to November, no way these ship on Oct 22. Can we get a realistic ship date please? DF knows there is no way these make the listed ship date, they will just collect more orders and then tell everyone later they will ship 3 to 5 months later than promised.
Hahaha the current ship date is April 27 when the original ship date was Oct 22. I was 100% right in my original comment from August! DF knew in August they would not ship these in October, so here it is 6 MONTHS LATE, at the end of April and still no ship. Dwarf Factory, just be honest about lead times.
Soldfra3 you spelled your handle wrong. I believe you meant to enter DwarfFactoryBurnerAcct. I had to stop buying DF stuff bc it is never on time. It’s gotten pretty silly. DF knows they will never meet their dates and we all know it. Try just being honest instead of making burner accounts to reply to comments that are almost a year old, further bringing attention to the ridiculous delays.
Nickb864It originally launched a few days ago but we had to end it early due to some updates that needed to be adjusted on our end. It went live again this morning with limited inventory for "in stock" to ship the following day. Seems like they all sold out quickly - we'll keep that in mind when ordering more for the future! The community really loves Dwarf Factory caps!
Two questions:
im new to mechanical keyboards and I have no idea how to tell if these will actually fit mine. How do I tell?
second: will there ever be another chance to get Felix, or some of the other series like the dragon, hippo, and the lighthouse?
your work looks beautiful, but given it’s (deserved) price, I can’t justify buying it if I don’t know if it’ll fit or if I can get ones that I like (which is all of them tbh)
MasterSquinchIf you have a Cherry MX style keyboard, yes these will fit. You can take a look at the stem and if you see a "+", it's a good indication that you do have one :)
This drop event was originally live a few years ago, and offered all styles. The order was fulfilled based on how many and which styles members purchased and after it ended - they were made to order.
This time around we've had the chance to order a small amount of select inventory that Dwarf Factory was able to offer. As a result, you will receive shipping of these caps within the next day as opposed to waiting a few months for fulfillment. Hope this answers your question!
There have been requests for DF to run their past styles like the dragon, hippo and lighthouse, but they enjoy working on new designs and bringing fresh stuff to the community. Not only them, but artisan and keycap designers try to encourage new projects to keep the diversity of products in the community alive.
I have gotten all the caps of the lander series, space whale and now this. Great caps that get me a ton of interest from people new to the hobby. I got one of these in SA from before but the domes look incredible. Had to get them all.
all of these are absolutely gorgeous! sadly i'll have to pass, it's been an expensive month :(
@DwarfFactory since this is round two, is there a chance of the anura frog coming back sometime too?
Hey All. Thanks for the catch! You are correct. The Dom profile keys are the domed ones. We have corrected the images now. We apologize for the confusion.
