A dwarf’s natural habitat is tucked away in the mines and caves. Of course, they wouldn’t hang out deep in the rocks if there wasn’t anything worthwhile nearby Read More
yeah, most raffles are $50 or more, and those are just 1u caps. For example, I just won a raffle from Keymakers and it was $50, and Keyforge is normally $70 a keycap.
JustFluxzI’ve been seeing this everywhere now. Instagram, massdrop, reddit. I want it for my entire keyset. I can’t believe they are handmade. For me I’m really into symmetry and uniform, so it would be hard for me to just grab one. but yeah like I said... if they made this for an entire keyboard I would consider the thousands it would cost haha
I'm back.
Good job DF.
Thanks MD.
To those asking how can you type with this? I've typed and played games into the thousands of hours using an all artisan covered board. Not a single cap has worn down and not a single finger was worn down to the bone. :D as for price. I think it's cheap. Then again I don't care about money.
To my dudes at DF.
I need my alt, ctrl, and win/fn keys turned into artisan caps. Hit me up when you're ready.
Much love everyone. Take care.
DwarfFactoryI'm thinking this key might be nice on boards that have a 2u shift as well, though the key would potentially see a lot more action than the backspace position.
rdodevactual feeling is not bad at all. We tested & changed crystal design several times to ensure you wont feel painful to press on the Chest. Anyway, it's treasure chest, we have to sacrifice something for its beautiful outlook.
RE comfort: how squishy is the resin? I do see that there's a sort of dip in the middle of the design which is where the finger would hopefully be directed towards, as well.
Will this work on a center mounted 2u setup? This might be the perfect key for my 2u space on my Planck. There are no stabs, just a center mounted switch.
SargentRedbeardit'll work, but will probably tilt decently on off-center presses. you don't necessarily need stabilizers on 2u keys, but in my opinion it's very nice to have them stabilized. ultimately it comes down to personal preference and whether it bothers you or not, but you can totally get away with it especially if you expect to hit the key in or around the center the majority of the time.
The design might have been nice to have a thin layer of clear resin on top so that it wouldn't interfere with the typing experience, but I dont know how much of the aesthetics that would alter.
I really can't decide which to get... Sapphire is my birthstone, red is fave color which would make Bloodstone good, but I think Angelite looks the cleanest. I don't know what to do!
Could we have more pictures of those artisan on a keyboard please ?
And possibly one without a closed up. I'm having a hard time to decide if this will look good or not.
