$26.95 at knifeworks.com. I imagine you could also invest in an Altoids container and fashion together your own kit at a fraction of that cost.. https://www.knifeworks.com/esee-mini-survival-kit-in-black-tin.html

DSH007Yeah this seems incredibly overpriced for what it is. The button compass manufacturer is not even stated.

DSH007Exactly. We utilized tampons and pads for kinetic injuries. Add a 2.99 firestarter, .99 brass wire from ACE and you can build this kit for about 10 - 15 bucks and you have better quality too. Use silicon self fusing tape and you can waterproof on top

Pretty much everything in this can be purchased on its own and manually assembled inside of an Altoids tin for cheaper.

DynamiklolExactly. My kid made and sold kits like this for a HS project. Came in cheaper and had more in them.

DynamiklolTrue, but you have to pay for, and then eat all those damn Altoids first!

Not sure how long you would survive with this thirty-dollar kit, but I imagine ESEE is surviving quite well on the profits they're making on this rather questionable product ;- )
No water tablets. No first aid. No space blanket.

CalaverasgrandeAgreed on water tablets. A few of them would easily fit in there.

hahaha
I actually got one of these tins for free a long time ago. I had no idea they were priced-to-shame. The tin itself is bad ass (and fyi, not the same size as a standard Altoids tin). But other then that I pretty much tossed the contents into my junk draw and didnt looked at them again.

Oops. Silly me. Tricked again with another great deal that I cannot get because I am Canadian. Forgot about the "no great deals for Canadians" rule. OH well I am sure there will be something for a whopping 10% off for me soon.
