SandyLucasI don't know the on E-bay is still there. I am just pointing out most things I am interested in here can be found elsewhere at the same price or better and sometimes at least real close. I would have thought with mass buying the prices would be a lot cheaper. And blue box? 6 weeks to pay the same? Just saying. "And that's all I've got to say on that".
SxrewyI hear ya. I can share that when we do our online check we look for products that have all the same characteristics , color, pick-ups, etc. The ebay one is cheaper but also a different color. And as you know, color is very subjective. But you're right in that we have some work to do. With other communities we are able to offer bigger savings and I believe it has to do with instrument manufacturers being very old school and not keen on trying new platforms to sell. They are also more tight with discounting their products which is something we're working hard to get past. We want to grow this community and provide great products at great prices so if you see more things that don't sit well, continue to flag them.
All that aside, what are you currently playing on?
SandyLucasI have a few guitars my favorite being my partscaster plays and sounds better than any custom shop I have played for 1/5th the price but with out the famous name will never be worth it real value. But 335, 12 string LP, 2 strats, tele, 6 string banjo, 2 ukes, 3 acoustics (2dreadnaughts and 1 parlor) 2 basses one is acoustic fretless.
Sxrewynice! post a pic of your partscaster. I'd love to tackle that one day but for now I just picked up a stat over the summer so that's been my go to lately.
SandyLucasNot sure if the picture uploaded. Never too many guitars or to late to learn I've only been playing for 3 1/2 years started when In turned 60.(sixty)
SxrewyIt did and it's awesome! I have only been playing for about the same amount of time. I wish I had started in my 20's but you're right in that it's never too late to learn something new. Here's a pic of my strat with my acoustic sitting behind it. This was just after I unboxed it and still hadn't installed the whammy bar. Still figuring out how to add that into my playing!
SandyLucasWatch Jeff Beck or SRV videos they use the whammy. I prefer using my fingers. But it does have it's uses. My Guitar hero right now is Joe Walsh Learn he's licks and your on your way. Just got the intro down foe the Eagles Life in the fast lane. Easy now just working on tones,
Best of luck. Learn Life is an Illusion in drop D. Very cool lick.
