As you mentioned chafe, I should note that I'm very slim and my thighs don't really rub.
The design of the textile used in these boxer briefs has a rather loose stretch. It doesn't go out of shape, but it doesn't hold you in as say a bike short would.
People with thighs that rub should expect the shorts to develop mild piling in the contact area.
HubeyDoobyDooI have a pair of these and wore then for two weeks in Alaska. My thighs touch. I'd describe the wear as a heavier then mild. So much so I'm not going in on this drop as I don't really trust these for long term durability. That being said, this is significantly less than I paid for my pair.
at lowest = $19.65 vs. $22.64 available today at Amazon. Not much of a deal. No one pays MSRP $60. The utility of Massdrop is diminished by these non-deals.
These are great briefs, stand up to a ton of abuse (work in Construction, do hiking), very breathable but still extremely comfy, fit very nicely. Wish they were the 9" Inseams. Hard to find in Canada let alone at a reasonable price - still worth the cost as they're amazing.
I've purchased 6 times from MassDrop, basically if you need it anytime in the near future - pass. These rarely go on sale, so I was in. The Darn Tough socks are usually a good deal too that rarely happens elsewhere as far as I know.
Overall, they are glacially slow.
Greenwood_60@Greenwood_60 Great news. We were able to source a few units for 2XL Curfew and Black. These may run out fast, so I recommend a quick join.
These are amazing boxers. Though I want to point out two things after having owned 6-7 pairs of them:
1. Over time these will pit so you will end up with fuzzy little balls in between your legs... and I’m not referring to the ones that are supposed to be there. :)
2. Nothing against MassDrop, I appreciate what they do for the community, but at this price you really aren’t saving much. It isn’t a bad price so please don’t take it that way. It’s just not a great price (like the $1199 TVs on here for $499). I typically buy the ones with a 9" inseam for $15.99-17.99 (each) through a very large online retailer. If you aren’t in a hurry to get them look around. You will find a deal that is as good, or better than, this one.

BradSI'm sorry - did you contact customer support? Posting in the discussion may help you vent or raise questions, but this is not the avenue for customer service. In fact, you never actually said you wanted help, or from whom. nor did you explain the actual issue. We're happy to help you out! Here's a handy link for you to get help:

That being said, going on the little bit of information you provided, it sounds like your product has a manufacturing issue, in which case your best and fastest route could be to contact ExOfficio directly:
