The Fromanteel Generations Abraham is a little unconventional in terms of layout. A dress watch that’s not too dressy, it features a combination of polished Arabic numerals (at 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, and 12) and rectangular markers (at 10, 2, and 6). Slightly off center is a date window at 4 o’clock, while a minutes track in intervals of five keeps everything contained. Though it isn’t necessarily traditional, the layout is surprisingly appealing. The polished stainless steel case is simple and refined, helping to hone in the markers inside it. Available in two styles, the dial is protected by a sapphire crystal. It’s also water resistant to 50 meters.
Note: At checkout, choose between the GA-0101-001 and GA-0102-012 models.
Back in the 1660s, Fromanteel was at the forefront of innovation in the world of timekeeping. At the time, the company had developed a clock that actually tracked seconds in a world dominated by minutes. The clocks flew off the shelves, leading to Fromanteel’s swift expansion from Amsterdam to London and soon after to New Castle. Today, the company applies its age old know-how to modern timepieces with an eye for quality, attention to detail, and customer satisfaction.
