Tactile, quiet, soft
I used these in my first custom board after using a Corsair + Cherry MX Browns for years. I bought a switch tester and tried a handful of switches and eventually landed on these. Noise, or the lack thereof, was never something I was thinking about with my build, but these switches felt great and just happened to be quiet. These switches feel very similar to Cherry Browns in that the tactile bump comes halfway through the keystroke, except the bottom out is a lot softer and quiet. You'd probably like these if: you like Cherry MX Browns, you want an affordable silent tactile switch, you are okay with soft bottom out. You'd probably not like these if: you like the tactile bump at the top of the keystroke, you like a loud switch, you don't like the feel of softer bottom out.

The lighter colored bits on the bottom and sides are a softer rubbery plastic that makes these silent and a lot softer than Cherry MX Browns.

Gateron is an expert!
TL;DR These fulfill the promise of a muted thock tactile, yes buy them if you’re interested! Background: I’m an audiophile more than a mech man, but I now have experience with keyboards equipped with a number of membranes (including an Apple Magic Keyboard), Gateron Yellow (Drop ENTR), Zeal Healios, Zeal Zilents (67g), Outemu Brown (Redragon gamepad), Cherry Brown, Kalih Speed Copper, Halo True (Drop ENTR), and now Gateron Aliaz Silent. Aliaz feel: Typing accuracy win! Their bump is just a hair below the top of the travel. You can’t feel the bump without hitting the actuation point, so you get feedback for every letter that shows up on screen, and that helps me with typing accuracy. These quite simply are in another class from the Halo True and especially Cherry Brown. While the Kalih and Outemu actually have a tactile click that you can feel (and hear) at the very top of their travel, the True and the browns feel almost like heavy linears (I have to type especially slow and soft to feel their “bumps,” and the Cherry feel especially rough). No question, these Aliaz feel so much crisper in the tactile bump, smoother in the rest of the travel, and just feel how I always had expected tactile switches to feel when I was first reading about them. I got the Zeal Zilents in their heavier actuation weight (67g) and the Gateron Aliaz at their lightest (60g), and in my GamaKay LK67 they have a similarly distinct tactile bump (just a bit lighter pressure needed in the Aliaz) for half the price. I bought Zilents for all my alpha keys and put the Aliaz into the numbers and everything else, and it doesn’t feel like a weird disparity and I would have been totally satisfied saving the cash and doing an all Aliaz build. RGB: It works! I have a surface mount LED keyboard, with the LEDs at the top (north?) section of each mounting square, and they shine through keycaps cleanly and have a nice diffuse sideways spill between the keycaps to make it look like the inside of the board is glowing. Aliaz Silent Sound: Hopefully, you were aware these were going to be muted, not completely silent. If you’re new to mechanical keyboards, the choice of switch doesn’t (seem to?) do anything to prevent the resonant ringing of the keyboard chassis when you press keys in the middle of the board (usually just a bit right of center of the alpha keys… like K and L on a tenkeyless board). That said, the muted sound is almost silent until you bottom out, and the bottom out sound is also muted and very thocc. Personally, I find that so satisfying, and much more polite when in a voice chat or recording/streaming situation. I wish there was more to say, but I’m just happy :)

Tactile bump is small, soft and has a fair amount of pre-travel. Quiet but pings.
In comparison to the other silenced, tactile switches I have on hand (aqua zilent, boba u4), these have a smaller, softer bump and there's a bit of travel before you get to the bump. There's a little bit of ping as well. The bottom out is a bit squishy. They're fine and I'm planning to use them to build a lighter typing board anyway so they fit the use case.

Great quality,
Just as silent as I expected them to be. Great housings, much less wobble than my cherry and gateron browns, and the housing doesn't fall apart when you try to remove it from the plate like gaterons. Similar level of tactility to browns (not a lot), but they don't feel scratchy like cherry or gaterons. Kind of hard to put into words. My batch does not have spring squish noise that some youtube reviews mentioned.

I love these switches!
I switched to the Gateron Aliaz Silent's from clicky Kailh's on my Drop Alt -- I was looking to get something tactile but also silent because the clickiness of the Kailh's were getting so annoying. The Aliaz Silents are really quiet compared to my old keys, they feel really good to type on (I got the 70g variant), and overall they have a rally satisfying touch and sound to them. I'm no expert on keyboards and all the various switches, but I'm really happy with the switch and this purchase. Note: since I am using these switches on a Drop Alt, I had to use a nail clipper to clip off the two plastic stabilizers on the bottom of each switch. No biggie.

A good silent switch
I wanted silent switches for my new planck, to be able to bring it to public places. Coming from an outemu blue board, I wanted to keep some of that tactility. Of course it is way less tactile, but surprisingly the bump is still quite there. The noise is really low-level, and if you don't hit your keys too hard, you should get a noise level lower than most desktop membrane keyboards, and on par with most laptop keyboards. Even if the noise level is comparable, the sound is way superior, not clicky at all, but more on the "thocky" side, with some treble-y overtones. Overall, even if I probably wouldn't equip a 100% board with those, they do exactly what I wanted them to do on my Planck.

Build quality is fine, worst tactiles i've ever used though
They're less tactile than MX browns, so if you're looking for an actual tactile switch, these are not your best bet. Feels like a bit of grainy resistance as you push down, like a crappy linear more so than a tactile. Spring ping is tolerable, and they're smooth enough I guess. Adequate for the number pad I put them in, but I would not want to use them in a full board. If you buy these, I'd probably only use the housings and toss the rest in some kind of frankenswitch.

Extra quiet, not fantastic tactile response
These switches are extremely quiet. However, beware if you are a faster typer. I give 5 stars because these switches are exactly as advertised, however, I was not sure what to expect as I’ve only used Cherry Blues and Reds. These switches are very difficult to type with if you are in the 140+ WPM range. They do start to feel slightly muddy and not quick enough at that point. They can for sure work at higher speeds, but they feel muddier than a regular old Cherry Blue when it comes to speed.

They're fine
They're ok, but the tactile bump is pretty small, much like a cherry brown. I was hoping for something more.

Slient but not boring
It is perfect switch when you need a slient one but linear feels little bit boring. I trashed away my cherry slient red in my office after receive this one.
