So many posts. Are weights based on actuation like cherry or bottom weight? Looking at clears for a custom stenoboard and the lighter the actuation the better.

RobFontActuations, they also have bottom weight but not written anywhere here. I think ripsters put all of them down somewhere
Gateron clear feels wierd with heavier keycaps and larger units and personally, I only like them on 1u. You might want to combine them with red or change some of the spring to heavier one.

RobFontthe clears are probably what you want. they are very light. I like them for normal typing, but there is always an adjustment period where I have to get used to not slamming them. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that while cherry style keys are the easiest to find caps for, Alps style switches Mathias, etc. are simpler if you are making custom keys.

nwimpneyThanks, clears it is. I will start with signature plastics flat keys and then 3d model custom keys and go the shape ways route once I have a working stenoboard.
