This is the only belt I have worn since I bought it. I even wore it under a suit and jacket.
I love that it is so easy to adjust, so amazingly lightweight, and so comfortable to wear.
If you are looking for a belt with a lot of structure (like for conceal and carry) I would look elsewhere.
If comfort is the top priority, Buy This Now!
Great belt for the price, the only issue I have is finding that sweet spot for comfort, it always takes little adjustments here and there. Other than that I definitely recommend this belt for the money.
I love the look of the belt and the quality of the materials used. It has a simple design, but it meets it's function well. It also fits well but my only gripe is how you tighten the belt. Unless I'm doing it wrong, you have to pull the belt through the buckle against your body which can make it a little awkward to put on.
That's the only issue I have had thus far however.
I wanted a belt for everyday and to replace the crappy belts included when you buy hiking pants. Works well for both. Takes a bit of practice before you can be quick about tightening, but that's a minor issues. Comes off very quickly, which can be helpful at times... ;)
Now see what you did? Now I will have to buy at least one more belt in black.
Great utility belt. Thinner than I believed it might be but no “rollover”. I have attached my Gerber MP-600 (11 oz w/bits and sheath) on an active day and have had no undue stopping to pull up my pants or straighten out the belt.
Very light weight and good looking. Definitely recommend.
I've been wearing this for a few days and I'm sold on the belt. Getting the hang of it takes a few tries and you need to cut and size the belt when you receive it. However, once I started to get the trick about how to get the buckle really tight it worked fantastic. There are several videos on the Grip6 site where they show you the different options and some tricks to get you going. I went for the honeycomb option on the buckle and was immediately impressed with how sturdy it is but also very very lightweight aluminum! It should probably be around $10 cheaper but the lifetime guarantee and supporting a smaller company offsets that for me.
Unless you have a hot knife or other specialized tool, get ready to chop this belt and melt it with a cigarette lighter. This is the actual recommended procedure in the documentation that comes with it. Mine came out mangled and it filled my house with smoke.
There's no good latch on the belt, relying on a single slat to hold the belt via tension. This makes it a pain to get adjusted right and take on /off. I have another nylon webbing belt with a traditional metal buckle and proper sealed/sized end that was a much better choice for the same money. I definitely regret buying this.
