Though it’s small enough for a palm, the Imalent DN35 is a downright beast when it comes to brightness. Capable of pumping out 2,200 lumens and casting a beam nearly 2,000 feet, it’s fit for search and rescue, night fishing, and industrial use Read More
I'm a 24-year law enforcement veteran, and I've had many flashlights come and go as situations and technology change.
The Imalent DN-35 is a great light when it comes to power, and small size.
A major flaw, however, is the switch placement. There are two small switches on the side of the light; one for brightness adjustment and the other to activate the light. I found myself fumbling to find the it in the dark when I needed to use it quickly (I work permanent night shift, so I use flashlights daily in my job)
Ultimately, I had to take it out of service, and go with a different brand of light, which I found to be very satisfactory.
Most tactical lights have a large tailcap switch that can be activated quickly and easily. Adding this to the light would be a great improvement.
So bear in mind that for a similar brightness you can buy a 26650 flashlight on eBay or AliExpress for a fair bit less. Different feature set of course but be sure you want this feature set. Search for "26650 flashlight"
Don't fall for this. This is a horrible deal. Go to Budget Light Forums and look for coupons there. You can get this light for $53.49 with the current coupons available there. Massdrop is trash as usual.
