I think its kind of a mix of the E30 and E28 either way its a very cool print and im glad i bought it i think that its slanted too far back to be an E28 but too far forward to be an E30
Man so much potential for automotive prints. Inked and Screened would make a killing off of some production vehicle prints, such as BMW E30, E36, E46 M3. Personally I would love Honda S2000, ITR, CTR; and I'm other cult following vehicles. The option for larger prints would be cool as well.
My apologies, the image to the right of it is the correct one. That was a duplicate that was supposed to be removed. If you look at the original patent it references at the Lamborghini gallardo at the bottom for some reason. I think that is what led to the initial confusion. We have requested to have that image removed again and hopefully it will be removed shortly.

Sorry for any confusion but the image 8 rows down and third column will be the print that is shipping for the McLaren.
InkedandScreened-SupportThe patent number for that image is incorrect; it says "Des. 628,214", but the correct number is, as you linked, 628124.
I believe the patent cites the Lamborghini Gallardo as a reference, not as the design in question.
TheyWereAllTakenMany of the prints are incorrect, you're right. I went through the posters again, and there are several other mislabeled cars as well. The BMW E28 5-series drawing is mislabeled as an "E30", as I mentioned before. The Nissan 240Z is labeled as a "240ZG", though it lacks the long G-nose. The Ferrari 599 drawing (just labeled as "Ferrari S.P.A") says it's patented in 1994, but the 599 wouldn't come out until the mid-2000's. In 1994 they weren't even making the 599's predecessor, the 550 Maranello. The DeLorean drawing says "patented May 20, 1986", when the car was in production from 1981 to 1983, and the concept car has been around since the 70's. The FD RX7 says "patented in 1993" - that's 2 years after production began. The drawing labeled "1972 Charger" looks more like a Challenger - maybe some muscle car people can weigh in on what it is. The Ferrari F40 was produced since 1987, but was patented in 1990? I'm not familiar with the engine and motorcycle drawings, but given all the inaccuracies with the cars I have no reason to trust any of these. This slap-dash approach is completely antithetical to the whole idea of these patent prints, which should have some level of precision and credibility. Coming up next: a Veyron print labeled "Lambo."
Shii0nGo look on Amazon, there is a much better option than these goons who don't even bother to reply to customers. I bought a really cool vintage looking one that I need to put on a frame.
Hey everyone,
It's great to see quite a few people making requests for different patent prints here in the discussion. We have been looking for more patents to widen the variety available, however it can be quite difficult to find a patent of an entire car or engine that is worthy of printing. They tend to be patented piece by piece, or are patented in another country.
We use Google Patents to try and find what we're looking for, so if you guys want a patent that isn't available on this drop and you can find it, just shoot me the link and we'll see about getting it added to the drop. We should be adding a rotary engine patent to the drop shortly.
