Plated in highly polished rhodium, the all-metal Italix Commodore’s Credential fountain pen stands out for its satisfying heft and reflective finish. The body tapers gently toward the bottom, with nothing to interrupt the mirror effect but the subtly grooved center and end rings. Equipped with a pocket clip and appointed with the company logo in cursive script, the cap unscrews but is not recommended for posting. At the top, the finial is cut at a slant—a small but distinctive feature on an altogether striking pen.
Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of eight nib sizes and styles (see list in "Nib Sizes" section below). This drop is limited to 100 units.
This German-made stainless steel nib is adjusted, reground, adapted, polished, and dry-tested by Italix in England. It offers a wet, skip-resistant writing experience. If you search online, you may find conflicting descriptions about the nib types offered here. Some are based on a misunderstanding, because the nib in such cases is being viewed from the back. We show the nib from the front. If you look at the back of the nib where the feed is, a left oblique will slant downward from left to right, as is meant for right-handed people, while the right oblique will slant downward from right to left, and is meant for left-handed people.
