Scottyit's definitely a heavy flannel shirt, and yes i'd personally wear it as an outer layer, specially since they run oversize. You can always size down and wear them as your shirt, but do know that they're flannel-lined and quite warm!
Can someone get proper measurements on this thing, pit-to-pit, collar, pit-to-cuff, collar-to-hem, etc?
A lot of the questions here are about fit and sizing and some detailed measurements would answer all of these questions!
Does anyone know how the fit is on these? I can't find any pictures of people actually wearing them. Seems like a nice item, but I'm more of a 42L than a 44R. I recently bought a Timberland flannel and the length was correct, but it was incredibly wide around the body and arms.
BradandCoffeeIf your concern is the body length of the shirt you can definitely go with the 42 then, these are definitely long as they are already. They have an extended tail, as it's part of the style.
