When the american founder of Becker Knife and Tool, Ethan Becker, sought out to create the new KA-BAR knife designs, he wanted to produce a series of knives for serious outdoorsmen and enthusiasts. His work is a favorite among community members for its precise design, attention to detail, and durability. The KA-BAR BK2 is a heavy duty fixed blade that can be used for anything from slicing and piercing to skinning game, filleting, and hammering when necessary. Weighing a full pound, this knife is big enough to take on virtually anything you throw at it. The 1095 Cro-Van steel blade is tough and coated to resist wear and corrosion in the field. The Ultramid handle has a base that extends slightly so your hand doesn't slide off while going to work with the blade.
Note: At checkout, choose the BK2, which comes with a MOLLE-compatible plastic sheath; or choose the BK22 (+ $2), which comes with a MOLLE-compatible polyester sheath.
