At less than 4 inches capped, the Liliput is already one of the most recognizable pens on the market. After all, it’s the smallest pen in the Kaweco family and one of the smallest fountain pens anywhere Read More
Could someone please tell me what I should use to remove ink stain from the body of Fireblue?
I've heard not to use alcohol because it can ruin your pen
Any suggestions?
Cool drop. I guess I'll flag this one once it ends so I'll know about the next drop. Seems at the end here, they've sold out of the common sizes. The only thing I don't like about this pen is the idea of cartridges. That and I already bought two expensive (for me) pens this year.
soolasoolaNow that’s interesting! I always read the squeeze converters didn’t fit even though they were supposed to. I hadn’t tried it as i just refill the cartridges But I will order one up now, thank you!
From my experience of using this pen from the last drop, I have an issue with starting the pen with a new cartridge. The ink will not flow after plugging a new/refilled cartridge. I recommend squeezing the cartridge to get some into the feed. Another issue was baby's bottom. I recommend smoothing it out with micromesh and Mylar paper from Goulet. After tuning the nib, it is easily one of my best writers, the best out of my steel nibs.
MorePieHaving the same exact issues with the Liliput Aluminum BB. Waiting for some micromesh to come in so I can smooth it out. Hopefully I don't fuck it up
MorePieDoesn't say. I imagine it to be the silver cleaners that shine brass and copper.
I bought one and wont be cleaning it.
And for anyone else new to fountain pens it looks like this pen cannot fit a refillable converter. Would like someone with the pen to verify though.
