I have kind of mixed feelings. So you just found out on the 30th that there was a shortage? I feel that if this was an issue, we should have been notified earlier. At the same time, these are all custom ordered and there are bound to be issues. I wont cancel, but maybe shipping should be waived? This is my first MassDrop as well and while I wont say it's my last, it's definitely put a bad taste in my mouth. But I wont make a final conclusion until I get the product in my hands. I just hope this doesn't turn into "whoops, we don't have enough parts".

NackersI'm with you almost 100%. Other than my first drop, I go for things I'm seeing go for significantly more at larger sites or are out of stock most places and only available on a website that looks like it is from 1995, so I am very OK with waiting. The communication was good and everything went smoothly on the first two, but the last two (Poker II and AKG K7xx), have had issues that probably (in my opinion) should have been identified and could have been communicated to the community sooner. The 11:59pm posts on the date that an update was promised are a little frustrating.
Overall, I'd just like more frequent (understanding that sometimes nothing has changed, but "no news is good news" was wrong this time) and accurate (two weeks ago, things were going strong) updates. I understand there is a fine line between under- and oversharing in order to maintain relationships, but it is important to either find it or adjust expectations from the beginning. I'd still have got in on the buy if it was a 2/1 delivery, but I wouldn't have worn out my F5 key waiting for yesterday's update.

jindoakujiYeah, I went and looked for a Poker II on other sites and basically everywhere is sold out. I even looked at other drops on this site and all of them have even further away ship dates.

A little frustrated by the Keyboard Club

Not sure what other's experience has been... but the Keyboard Club has been a pretty frustrating experience for me. The discount is supposed to be $30-100 USD. I looked at my history today, and there have only been a handful of times - IN 3 YEARS! - where my discount was more than $30. The odds of a deeper discount at a time I'm actually ready to buy are worse than the Powerball. I wish that Drop would start advertising this for what it is: Pay for the Club and you'll get $30 discount per month. It feels like it would be more honest than what we're seeing right now. After 3 years I canceled. I just can't justify paying for discounts that are (almost) always at the lowest end of the promised range.
