i take them everywhere. funny story with them.
they are super rigid, absolutely no flex to them whatsoever. i feel like these are potentially dangerous for children due to how little flex they have, for some to be walking and with very little pressure just scratch glass or other things. i prefer these to other chopsticks ive tried. these are a no brainer.

musouUse the little 'Keith Titanium' cardboard inserts and roll yourself a stick holder!
I rolled it around one chopstick, then in reverse direction around the other, so it basically formed a supercurled S-shape, and then slid the whole ensemble into the carrying cases. I left the cardboard spacer close to the end of the tube, the endcap has holes to keep the tips safe and free of rattling so the spacer near the top is all you need to eliminate the clatter. I'm sure you could use a more food-safe piece of material, but I acted faster than I planned and by the time it was done I didn't care to re-do it.
