The Two Step, so named for its stepped design at the base of the stem, features a silicon nitride bearing and a wide base. The wide base makes for an extremely smooth spin with a short learning curve. While it won’t set any spin time records, it’s no slouch, either. Aggressive knurling on the stem helps you get a solid grip to generate powerful spins—up to more than 8 minutes with a good surface and some practice. The brass and copper versions will develop a natural patina over time.
