Always been a fan of Ken Onion/Kershaw knives, this one does not disappoint.
Having used the Kershaw Leek and Scallion knives in the past, I've always been pleased with the quality and utility of the knives. Light, durable, and incredibly handy, they are always one of my favorites for EDC. Naturally my interest was piqued when this popped up on Drop. Glow in the dark carbon fiber handle scales? Sign me up.
The package arrived with the standard Kershaw box. Initial impressions were that the knife was incredibly light and fairly unassuming, until you turn off the lights. I'd never seen a glow in the dark carbon fiber before, and found the pattern super novel and unique. And, as to be expected, the assisted opening is crisp and the blade hilariously sharp.
Very pleased with it, and hope other varieties of Kershaw knives offer similar handle scales in the future!

You made a great decision man, I own the greatest knives on Earth and if I didn’t spend 1000 this week on knives I would.
Honestly, I love how the leek doesn’t have a choil that takes up half the blade like Spyderco. I feel like this glow in the dark carbon fiber is the greatest handle material ever made, besides the blade steel being yikes, everything else about this knife is phenomenal and for the most part many people even experts won’t really notice the difference between knife steals if they’re just pulling it out of their pocket and using it to cut cardboard or whatever.
I wanted to buy this knife and put a mirror edge on it with my KME. Totally will regret not buying this knife, I already know it now. I refuse to carry any of my edc knives because they’re too expensive (lost a 200 dollar nakamura cf 2 weeks after I got it, never again) I think this knife would be the perfect one to carry, I’ll regret it I know I will, I just “can’t” afford it . 😭

Kershaw knives are remarkable for the price, the ken onion series is amazing, the kershaw leek is amazing, the glow is fun. what's not to like?
The glow is very strong coming into a dark place after being in the sun. After a minute or so, if you're in a lit room, the glow isn't obvious. like 10 minutes later In pitch black it glows dimly. (handy to find it in the pitch black, or if your flashlight passes over it)

the glow handle is a nice touch but not very useful, dosent stay charged very long, kind of a gimmick. the Leek is naturally super fast and fun to play with, the spring assist is top notch, replaced clip with a casey lynch deep carry clip (highly recommended) the finish has held up well, NOTE: aftermarket screws will not fit this model

I love the Kershaw blade action
This is my second knife from Kershaw. I love the blade opening action. It’s so easy to open with one hand.
Add a clean straightforward design where form follows function, these knives are just clean solid tools.
On top of that, this one glows.
