not like a 'gun barrel'. The barrel is the long (or short) tube which the projectile travels down. This would be analogous to the revolver's cylinder. The part of the revolver which stores the bullet cartridges in 5 or 6 holes.
I really really like this product. However it's quite dear for something that just holds my pens up. Albeit quite a bit snazzier than a Cafe Bustelo can.

Maybe a good "novelty" item to have around the house ... not sure I'd want to use it in the office though ... given the design, and those Christmas colors, and the way everyone looks for something, anything, to complain about these days ... it will inevitably offend someone, in some way :-)

BlueCrownedI was being snarky with my comment :-) ... the black one will offend the "easily offended" because of the design, regardless of the color.
