terman2I use it at work on a Mac and I use Karabiner Elements to map the cmd/option/control keys the way I want them. I also use it to set up a one key print screen. The media buttons work out of the box though, which would have been a headache otherwise.

terman2also, there is no way to use this keyboard at startup. I can't use it to fill my password. That's odd.

claaI have this keyboard and use it with a Mac and I don't have any issues entering password on boot.

claastrange. my setup is that i have the keyboard and mouse plugged into a 4 port which is in turn plugged into a usb to usb-c dongle that is then plugged into the mac. what is your setup?

terman2I have used dozens of Windows keyboards with Macs, Hackintoshi and Linux. If they fail to work, it is a firmware problem in the keyboard.

claayou can check if the keyboard have NKRO or not, if have, disable it when booting (using 6-KRO instead) gonna help sometimes.
