@Kinesis will there ever be an RGB or just plain white led version? I have one of these already and it's my favorite keyboard ever (and I have had 20+ mech boards now). I really want another one for my gaming setup (I used my current one for work) but honestly the blue LEDs just suck... Please let us know If there are RGB or white led versions coming :-)

cub3yCan the LEDs be turned to off or so low that they are effectively off?

elFickThey can be turned off or down low. The major issue is with shine through keycaps the legends become much harder to read without light. I keep mine on the lowest light setting.

cub3yNo issue kinesis edge keycaps have painted legends are easy to read with the back light off. I own a Kinesis edge, use it every day and unlike the most shine through caps (looking at massdrop ctrl) the Kinesis ones are very easy to see with out the back light. Kinesis has white paint over the keycaps legends / shine though. noted here: https://www.anandtech.com/show/11631/kinesis-freestyle-edge-split-gaming-keyboard-review/2
