Massdrop neglected to mention the tactical aspect of these chopsticks. It's happened to all of us at least once.... you are minding your own business eating shrimp lo mein when suddenly one of the shrimp that was mistaken for dead on your plate attacks you. It's literally going to be a fight to the death and with the shrimp in full-on fight mode he proves to be a worthy adversary to the average diner. Armed wth your tactical titanium chopsticks the choice of how to take out the shrimp for good rests solely with you. A cymbal crash like strike or a quick thrusting stab to the aggressive crustacean with your Kizer Cutlery and it's game over almost as quickly as it began. Don't be caught unprepared; the next time it might be an innocent looking pu pu platter that suddenly causes your life to flash before your eyes.

I'm waiting for the tactical heavy duty chopsticks with flashlight in one and compass in the other. You never know if the apocalypse will hit while at Panda Express.

ClaridThe one with the navigating compass doubles as a fire steel, and then you can attach the two chop sticks and use them as a drafting compass.

Your tantrum has yet to convince and it likely never will. Like you said my statements were based on common knowledge, you on the other hand are working with some not so common knowledge, you may potentially be bullshiting some if these definitions, nevertheless I'm no longer entertained. I was already calling bullshit when you made that grammar mistake that I pointed out twice now, kind of discredits your entire facade seeing as you're trying to convince me you know English to some masterful level. It was honestly fun watching you make a fool of yourself three comments in a row and and blatantly ignore the holes I tore in your argument but now I grow tired of talking with someone who pretends to know words but can't seem to use them to form a properly convincing opinion. You've yet to counter any of my points beyond saying "it's English" and blatantly ignoring others. Yes indeed I have made errors in this conversation but this is not a formal piece of work and I don't care. I'm not the one claiming to be a to know English at an intimate level. To bring up a point that you keep ignoring, what does this have to do with the chopsticks after all this is a forum to discuss the product? I won't be wasting anymore effort unless you have something to share about the chopsticks. Please don't play yourself anymore by throwing tantrums about words on a forum about chopsticks. It's Petty.

Received mine today. Ordered two pairs in blue and proceeded to wash one pair in the sink. The difference in finish immediately after the first wash is astounding. Mind you I only used the soft part of the sponge and not the rough green side. Regular off-the-shelf dishwashing detergent.

I agree the chopsticks clink around inside the case, so a thin cloth like the one used for Ray-Ban sunglasses might be of use to dampen them.
It takes quite some effort to actually bend these chopsticks so I'm convinced that these are solid and not hollow. They are heavy. I would only bring these with me in my EDC if I gave up my tactical pen, as these chopsticks would be more than a fitting substitute. Two, at that.
Wish I got these in the plain metal finish, instead.

My fears about Ti chopstick users have been realized--can they all be this dim?

Are these dishwasher safe?
Besides, I know that the imperial system is weird, but I doubt that it is this weird: " Length: 8.5 in (241 g) ".

There probably are little differences in finishing and quality in reality. Little, but probably not earth shattering.
The thing is, Kizer is a well established company and I am sure they uphold higher standard because they have a global buying base and a brand name to protect.
You can maybe get the same quality from a smaller company selling a $15 set, if you're lucky - hey, sometimes these small companies even sub-contract for the bigger ones! Or if unlucky you can get a totally shitty product, made with loose tolerances and spotty finishing.
That's up to luck I think. If you find a cheaper set that has great reviews, that might be worth it to try your luck.

BobrazI think you're right, but my deciding factor is that this is going into your mouth and I think it is wise to make sure there aren't quality issues because you wouldn't want to ingest any flaking or poor quality issues!
