Loved it until it died
It was a great light to use with it being rechargable, magnetic, and the light head was rotatable to change the aim.
The only problem I encountered is that one day it just stopped working outright after about a year or so. Kind of disappointing really at it was my favorite light during the time it did work.

Nice unit, still using it 3 years later!
1000 lumens, USB rechargable.. Those two points alone are what sold me on this one.
What's really useful is the magnet base and the swivel head. Makes it a great car light. Even if your vehicle is half plastic, the magnet will find some steel to grab onto if you're under the hood in the dark.
Brought it out camping/hiking but not to the beach. I like to save the grit and salt for my cheap flashlights.

** update** so I contacted drop about the issues they were unable to help as it was out of their warranty period. But, I hadn't realized klarus has a 5 year warranty! I contacted them and they are sending me the head unit from the flashlight. It was pretty easy and painless and they have just sent me tracking. fingers crossed that the new one holds up better either way it's getting fixed! but with that factory warranty I think I would recommend it.
Did exactly what I needed to begin with but after a few months use at work the head will not stay in place at all. Rendering it mostly useless. Due to the loose head, or a connection within, the light fails to come on half the time now.

Really nice swivel-head flash light. At first I thought I had a defective one, but realized that the body twists apart in two places, not just at the end. Once I tightened it, the light worked flawlessly. The head does turn 2-3 degrees past straight, but it doesn't seem to effect performance. The size of this battery is slightly bigger in diameter that my other 18650s, which is a little annoying.

Flashlight switch no longer works. My attempts to work with Massdrop and the manufacturer have fallen on deaf ears. I don't think I'll be getting anything from Massdrop anymore.

I'm not a flashlight expert but apparently I am a fan since I have bought over half a dozen different ones on massdrop alone. That can possibly qualify my statement here that this is an excellent device with great brightness and battery life. The reason I bought it was the swiveling head that works well in a standing position. This is more than adequate for getting in strange corners, etc. and great price value.

I love mine. I had 3 in a shootout and this won in my mind.
