Very pleased with this adapter. It allows me to use an off-the-shelf Coleman propane canister with my self-igniting torch. Excellent for heating and manipulating plastics, heat shrink, expanding metals, etc...

Excellent adapter allows me to use the larger commercial canisters with smaller stoves and lanterns. Love this item!

I have both, bought the brass one years ago directly from overseas when it was quite hard to get due to high demand and low production. The adjuster is very finicky and adjustment makes little difference unless you have the right thing attached and the temps are correct. Ive used that one in the deep negatives several times and it has likely saved my life due to the fact that i got so little heat out of my butane canisters. Using a msr reactor, jetboil, and a micro gas lantern the kovea adapter has worked quite well down to -13c. I did notice the propane start to give me trouble in starting with those temps, but a reusable hand warmer helps immensely there. I have a few of the 28g~ titanium stoves too and with a cast iron skillet i can still fry sauaage links in -8c with a cover on the pan. Cant believe how well this works in low temps, ive used the AL one to just above freezing pretty well up on mt. Rainier so i dont expect different results. I find that with the adjuster wide open, the stoves and lanterns have decent enough control that messing with the adjuster isnt exactly needed.

I have both the stainless steel version and the aluminum. Both work flawlessly and are built very well. I recommend the aluminum for the weight savings.

Using this with a BTR 1000 stove on the Appalachian Trail. There are a lot of abandoned canisters in the hiker boxes. This extends the life of my small cans when I can burn the fuel somebody else left behind. Sweet. A little heavy, but way less than bringing propane cylinders :)

Used a dozen times or so with my MSR pocket rocket. Works like a charm, no complaints.

I got this primarily to power my stove during hurricane outages here in Florida. Shortly after the drop was delivered, I got the chance to put it to good use. It's simple, easy to use and works as advertised. Can't say anything more about the product than that.
