In my opinion is not worth to buy this cable on massdrop. On kprepublic(dot)com you can buy for $9.90 without waiting 2 months for shipment.

emsonThese are the V2s with the longer A-side cable. It's still more worth it to grab it from KPR as the price is exactly the same.

This appears to be the V2.0, with the 0.5m straight section @11.90 list price.

MichaelAtOzAgreed. I just bought the $9.90 coiled cable from KPrepublic, it's sitting in front of me now, and the one in this drop is the longer $11.90 cable. The $9.90 cable has a very short straight end on either side of the coil, while this one has a longer straight section on the usb-a end. However, it's still cheaper and faster to get it from KPRepublic. My last KPrepublic order (which included one of those shorter cables) was placed on 10/18/18 and reached by me in the US on 11/3/18. With shipping and tax, it would cost me $15.81 vs. $11.90 to get this cable from Massdrop, and I'd wait an extra two months to receive it. This is a weird drop.

These are cheaper on their website or through AliExpress with free shipping...

Anybody knows how long the coiled part of this cable? I think the specs only mentioned the cable length and the diameter but didn't mentioned the specifics of the coiled part.

zidGIt's about 7 1/2" when it's not stretched out.

Doesn't seem very retro without a fat, molded ferrite on each end.
CyphreAnd what about a beige option?

Mine just arrived! Great product but the cable is very short. Overall still happy with it, but I have had to plug it in to my monitor. The cable also needs to be trained to look "aesthetic" so I have sticky taped it down just above the coil. Overall 3.5/5. Not a bad looking product, but you definitely get what you pay for! Recommend this to anyone looking for a nice aftermarket cable without breaking the bank.
