Same price elsewhere except for the bonus knife. But my real problem is overcharging for a chinese made knife. Not knocking the quality, which I hear is good, but rather the fact that this is a manufactured knife made in China for much less. If you pay $400 for any Chinese made knife that is not made of precious metals you are basically paying a lot of extra profit for the seller, while guys like Chris Reeve are doing just fine making $400 knives here in the USA employees American workers. This is really a $200-$250 knife which would include plenty of profit for the seller. To charge $400 is just greedy

The Tempest has ball-bearings if anyone is wondering. I don't see the point of this drop as the knife is available elsewhere for $400 with free shipping.

DmitryNCan I just get the GSD? CRKT make great EDCs if you actually want to use your knife every day. It will cost nothing, keep a good edge for 12+ months and at the cost is almost disposable. For $400 you could buy a beautiful handmade blade like an ADV Butcher with free shipping.
In fact, I just used the first CRKT I bought a couple of years ago thats been retired to my vape box to open a carton and its still doing its job, 2 years and 20 bucks later :)

Once again, please state in the specs where the product is made. MD has always omitted this info when the product is made in China while including country of origin when the product is made in USA. I don't believe that this is an listing error. Please stop this practice.

I just hope MD will be consistent in its practice so it doesn't seem to be the case that when a product is made in China or countries other than USA, the country of origin is omitted. This info helps customers like me in buying decision. Thx.

I don't have the custom Liong Mah (really more of a "Mid-Tech" as Ken Onion likes to say) but I will vouch for the bonus knife. The GSD (Getting Sh*t Done--really) is a box-devouring, vinyl-slicing, paper-cutting monster which will cause the hair on your arm (should you have any) to jump into the air as its blade approaches it. This is NOT a piece of junk--hardly. It's a great EDC and will keep you happy as long as you use it.
