For a cord that won’t fray and is easy to plug in and take out, check out these handy magnetic charging cables. Compatible with Android and iOS (depending on your selection), they feature a connector that plugs into your device Read More
I ordered 2, one micro-USB, and one lightning. The micro USB does not support fast charging or data transfer. And the lightning is horrible, looks like an afterthought piece of rubber with metal strips on one side. Way overpriced for what it delivers.

you dont have to care about the orientation, the magnets do it for you
and you can use it for data... which means you only need 1 cable to do everything
only 2 pins with the massdrop one....
you will need 2 cables, 1 for charging, one for everything els...
This version is the very first generation of these. I have like third generation that is way smaller and doesn't have that giant round port. much better over all
Also, why is this $24.99?!? you can get one on amazon for $10 http://amzn.to/2ryXaFI
The ones listed here are 3.6 foot, but if you want 6 foot and better design http://amzn.to/2sslKYL
there's others like that in the 3 foot range, but i like more slack.
JollyrifficSo glad I read the comments. I just picked up a 2-pack of Gen 4 cables for $17 on Amazon, and I'll have it by tomorrow lol.
Had I ordered this one, it would have been 1 Gen 1 cable for %50 more, and I wouldn't have gotten it for weeks.
Not a quality product... I ordered 3 Micro USB and over the next two months they all stopped charging. i was initially impressed but the durability is lacking.
Is there an option to buy extra cables? We are interested in the magnetic cables, however when you think about it, for the typical family, we would need 4 cables per device (one bedside for night charging, one at the computer for daily use, one for work and one for the car). So for a family of 3 we would need at least 12 cables for just 3 phones (I am not counting tablets if I did that we would need 3 more connectors and cables each)....just seems to be outrageous to buy with out being able to get just the cable assembly..what happens if the cable fails for some reason? Buy a whole new setup? Crazy.
Sloblo Look up "Wsken Round USB-C" on Aliexpress or. Wsken is probably the OEM or at least the originator of these types of cables since they always have the newest version. Much cheaper as well if you don't mind a month long wait.
Do note that the round version sold here is only 2-pin so it can only charge. The Wsken Mini 2 (5-pin) model supports USB transfer but it isn't 360 degrees for easy attach and detach and most importantly isn't available for USB-C yet.
Since this only comes in Micro USB and Lightning, it isn't really appropriate to claim that it supports "Android" phones. Newer Android phones are often coming with the new high-speed USB-C cable, and this drop wouldn't work with those Android phones.
