Wowza, that was a long wait for this case! I am pleasantly surprised though. I was not expecting much - particularly because I was honestly regretting that I chose the purple option. I thought, "It's a pen case. And though I know and appreciate Manhattan Portage, how great can a pen case be?" Then I opened the package, however, and I lit up by it's overall size, quality, and aesthetic. The only thing that I will say is that the flap seems to get stuck in the zipper a bit (as I tried to communicate through the last photo at the bottom) when I have a pen in the center slot, unless I am sure to push the flap in some with my finger. Not in anyway does that give this product a negative mark for me. I just figure I need to be a little bit careful else it may fray the flap or weaken the zipper at some point. Thing is great.
Also, sorry that my photos suck. Some of you are really good at taking photos, and I am very bad at taking photos.

A really good case overall. Solid build quality. Accommodates long pens and the rightmost slot is wider and accepts pens with extra girth. The regular sized slots are a decent size and will accept a Visconti Homo Sapiens (oversized).
I have couple of minor quibbles: 1. When using the centre slot the protective flap is pushed out further and it tends to snag in the zip. Tapering the edges of the flap a little more or even rounding off the corners would probably help (but it might come at the cost of reduced protection for the pens in the end slots). 2. The zipper pull jingles quite a lot. I'm considering cutting it off and replacing with paracord.
Overall I'd recommend this case.

Nice little organizer bag. Wish I'd bought a second, as I bought this for my small hand tools, but then my pens all jumped in there and I can't get them out. Wish that it came in some more colors. White would be cool. The only reason I did not grant this review 5 stars is that the little flap thing is cut too square. It should be more of a rhombus so that it does not interfere with the zipper closure. I'm not the only one with this complaint, so uh, make a MKII and address that, and I'll def buy at least one. Probably two. Because I have lots of tools and pens.

Very well constructed and high quality, I just didn't find it as usable in real life as I expected, and I have other cases I prefer. The slot on the left side is so slim that only the skinniest pens will fit in it. I would rather have the case a bit wider but with five roomier slots for the pens, or with just four roomier slots rather than the fifth relatively useless one.

I am not happy about these excessive tags inside the case. What's this, an IKEA soft toy? It is not possible to safely remove them without damaging the stitching. They were not on the product photos.

Meh, wasnt worth the wait. I backed the first drop which didnt have the fancy flap. its just a plain pencil case that just a tiny bit too short for many of my pens. I have since repurposed it as a cable holder.
