I'm thinking twisty not that bad now. I've got the MD clicky Cu AAA and on at least 3 occasions now I've pulled the flash out of my pocket or bag and the light was on. Thank goodness it starts off at low Lumens setting so battery was not totally drained but makes me wonder one day I may really need it and bugger it will be flat ...

You know..., with all the 'geeky' topics and potential issues, advantages, disadvantages, etc., that one can list and write about a product or single item, can't all be taken seriously. That is, not until you get that item in your hand. And, which, at that point, the real analysis begins, which , much of it becomes and remains subjective. That stated, I just got my new flash light. And, I gotta say, this light ROCKS!!!! A world series type homerun!! A game changing 3 point field goal!! A basket from 'down town' in the last two seconds! OK... maybe not that good... LOL. But, you get the picture. I can only wish that this flash light will last me a long time, and I don't lose it :)

AJAugustI can say that the old model icebreaker merino wool tank top A-shirt has been my go to base layer for everything. I own two and wear them about 350/365 days /yr for the past 2 years.

The Maratac AA Rev4 uses PWM. Discussed here: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?350311-NEW-Maratac-AA-cu-(Copper)&p=4989175&viewfull=1#post4989175 It is a Cool White Low CRi light. It has no low voltage protection for LiIon, and the driver is not rated for LiIon voltage.

I'm tempted, but Maratac already has Rev 5 out and its only $5 more! If the price on this were better it'd be a no brainer. But as it stands...I might just get the one from them.

I have three of the lights pictured including LuminTop Worm on the right and I'm contemplating whether to add Maratac AA to the collection.

brainwaveThank you VERY much for this picture. I have two of the copper Maratac AAAs, and was wondering at the size comparison between those and this light. Not too bad, and I have zero complaints with my other Maratacs, so this might be a worthwhile purchase.
